About our FREE Community Information Days

Our information sessions are designed to educate community members and workers about what consumers can do if they are having problems with:

  • banks, credit cards and loans

  • businesses, contractors and consumer rights

  • discrimination

  • doctors, nurses, hospitals or other health services

  • electricity, gas and water companies

  • federal government agencies (Centrelink, taxation)

  • legal issues

state government agencies (housing, police, child protection, community services, prisons)

  • telephone, mobile and internet companies

Interested in hosting a Community Information Day?

Community Information Days can either be in person or online. In order to make the day a success and attract as many participants as possible, as a co-host you'd need to:

  • nominate at least two people to liaise with the Good Service Forum mob

  • promote the forum within your local and surrounding communities

  • assist with organising venue, catering and Elder for Welcome to Country

  • identify potential organisation/s to assist with transport of community members (if required)
